You would have to contact Steam to get this resolved since you used their services.

Hello There,

If you are downloading games from steam, the DLC would have to come from there also. If you are having issues with this, you need to contact steam. If you purchased the DLC through the Xbox or Xbox website you would need the Xbox version of the game.

So, just tried to load up my Fable 3 install that used to work and couldn't load save due to DLC authentication (its all installed).

tried to reinstall gfwl but no matter what I do I get the,

"There was an error retrieving your purchase history. Please sign out and try again later"

All I want to do is re-authenticate/download my Fable III DLC, I have tried uninstall gfwl/ reboot / reinstall also tried that with compatibility win 7 settings on gfwl client....

Such a crock that this is even a problem. Don't we love digital content and the cloud, This makes me even less likely to ever buy anything from the windows 10 marketplace, what a bitter flavor of loss :/

GFWL isn't closed. It's still up and running (barely) but you can't buy things from it. You can redeem codes through it still.

Are you able to provide some screenshots of what's going on? I'm not fully sure where you're having the error.
