GFWL - Client works, but game cannot download profile (Lost Planet2)

Thanks for fixing the client! I was able to see my icon load and with no errors in the logs.

After trying to signin via GFWL through the game however,

It prompts me for my key I used, however this is the same account I used a key on. So, I entered the same key.

It says that the key is already used. I even double checked my account and see the "Games for windows live - Lost Planet 2" in my achievements

Problem is, my profile didn't even seem to download. Upon clicking "Network status", it says "Can't connect to live, Error 0x80151801"

IP: Not signed in

uPnP: Not signed in

I will check my portforwarding configurations and report my findings, but at least it's a step closer.

GFWL-Unable to Access Purchased Content

Same here, cannot retrieve my purchases in GFWL client.

 

Cannot download Harley Quinn's Revenge

Hello,

1. I start Batman Arkham City

2. Inside the game I open Games For Windows Live

3. I enter my "Harley Quinn's Revenge" product key in order to download the add-on

4. Nothing is downloaded, instead I get an error that the Games For Windows Live client cannot be started

I have Windows 8 and Batman Arkham City runs fine with GFWL but downloading the Add-on is not possible.

Please note that I already deinstalled the old GFWL client and installed the latest version to get GFWL running inside the game. Still it does not help to download the Harley Quinn Add-on.

Help is really appreciated. This GFWL stuff drives me crazy.

Uninstalled latest C++ 2010 redist version (10.0.4* back to 10.0.3*)

Make sure my time was synced

Took "xlive" runtimes into my system32 and game's folder.

Even turned off my firewall for a moment and network security on my modem and my rig.

It asks me for my product key all the time,

I enter it when on the account I even used it on, and still will not download my profile and cannot connect

Same error code, same problem still.

I've spent hours still investigating...

 

After chatting with Nick B. from Microsoft support we found that the issue lies within the key.

Even when you have used the key, and you know it's the same account you used it on. Your profile will not load.

However, hope is not entirely lost, I am currently trying to find the temporary install files that Lost Planet 2 has loaded on my machine and will test if using them will resolve those that has already used their key.

 

This is resolved, however many will not by happy with this.

Basically, you need a new key. Yes, you need to buy a brand new key...

For some reason, and I have proved that my key I used many years ago is mine.

I have taken the update content and have loaded it on a new machine with the game.

This account had achievements for that game from gfwl since the day i bought it...

I want to argue that it was either the server that holds these keys that have possibly malfunctioned.

Or possibly steam's key generator malfunctioned.

Maybe, I am that stupid and really assigned my key to another account...

So, if you bought a key many years ago from steam, and you cannot get in... Then...

1. It's your own fault

2. It was steam's fault

3. It was the sever holding the key information

Now if you excuse me, I'm going to play the game now..
