    GFWL Client There was an error retrieving your purchase history


    I installed windows, and downloaded the Games for Windows Marketplace. When I tried to log in to download my purchased games, I was met with the error, "There was an error retrieving your purchase history."

    How do I fix this, I want to be able to play my games again.

    GFWL client, can't retrieve purchase history

    I've tried many times on many systems.

    GFWL client always comes back with "There was an error retrieving your purchase history. Please sign out and try again later"

    GFWL Marketplace - An unknown error has occurred when retrieving keys

    First off, I'm jealous - you have ITSP through GFWL. I have the Steam version where GFWL was patched out. GFWL Client There was an error retrieving your purchase history :(

    Is that the only one that's having an issue? Are you getting an error at the top saying there was an error retrieving your purchase history?

    I tried that previously, I have also checked the threads on the forums, this seems to be a reoccurring issue, and it is still broken.

    I still can not access my games.

    Still doesn't work, the steps were to no avail. The previous posts in the forums show this broke before, Microsoft fixed it, then let it break again, leading to this most likely being a Microsoft server issue. Can this be fixed, or a refund of the games
    purchased be issued so we can repurchase these from a webstore that will keep our purchases available? I would prefer it be available through the windows wtore in windows 10 like the rest of our purchases.

    Hey there .

    Sorry to hear you're having trouble! Are you still running into trouble with the client? If so, have you tried a full PC reboot to see if there's any change?
    I've tried many times on many systems.
