GFW (Live) Marketplace Error came back! "There was an error retrieving your purchase history. ...

Hi,

I'm trying to access the Games for Windows Live Marketplace but I get this error message:

This is happening on both of my Windows 10 computers. It worked for both computers around 2 weeks ago, the last time I used the application.

It's the same error as three previous threads.

I tried deleting the local profiles and reconnecting but it's still the same. Can't download the games. Launching a GFWL game installed from Steam works fine and I can connect without any problem.

GFW Marketplace: error retrieving your purchase history

Hello,

I've been getting the "retrieving your purchase history" error for a long time now — a few months maybe. I believe it started appearing after switching account region from US to RU. Yes, I tested it on different PCs.

Can it be fixed?

Also, I cannot download Dirt 3 Free Car Pack — error code: 80070057. Paid DLCs downloaded successfully though.

 

The error details state (in French, like my Windows language):

I can send error logs if Microsoft employees need them.

Hi,

I'm just launching the application. That's it. It's enabled in the firewall and everything. I even tried deleting my profile and I can see the game but that's it. Where do I send the logs?

 

Thanks for the info. If you could possibly upload a log to a service like OneDrive and send me a link to the file by clicking on "Message" under this post, I'll be able to get to it.
