GFW Account locked - recovery impossible

Hello guys,

please let me describe here, what the problem is:

My main account (not this one) is locked. I think i tried to login with the wrong pass too often.

With Microsofts standard procedure, i have two options now:

1: send a "code" to my mailaddress

2: recovery and send a mail to an alternate address

The real problem is, that i deleted the mailadress behind my standard account months ago. So option 1 wont work.

I tried option 2 "the recovery process" several times. But i always get feedback from microsoft, that with the provided information, microsoft is not able to recover my account.

I tried to contact MS-Support via phone but they cant help me either.

So, what to do now? Any good tipps?

Sorry to hear it. First off, you should never post personal information regarding other people on the forums regardless as to whether they are living or dead.

This issue is caused when someone uses an email address that does not belong to them and can be a big hassle for those that do as there is nothing that anyone here can do to help.

The best I can offer is the link below that tells how to change an email address on your account using the 360.

Account recovery impossible

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

my wife has registered her account for our xbox 360 with the ). This emaiadress and the according domain belonged to (MOD REMOVED) was the owner of the domain alchem.de but unfortunately died on 10.01.2015 due to a heartattack. Meanwhile the domain was
returned to the hoster who sold it to someone in vietnam (please see the whois information). We can not recover the password as we do not have access to the mailbox anymore.

Can you help us aswe do not want to loose this account.

I'm sorry to hear that your child's account is unable to log in. Based on your description, you have been locked out of many login attempts, and without security verification information, you can only resort to the account recovery form.

Typically, if an account is locked out for the first time, the lock will be removed after 24 hours. You can try to log in again after that. It is important to note that the more times you are locked out, the longer the lockout period will be.

Based on experience, these newly created accounts are almost impossible to recover if the password is forgotten, as it is difficult to provide sufficient valid information. Microsoft takes the security of user accounts very seriously, and without sufficient information, it is impossible to determine who the real owner of the account is from Microsoft's perspective.

like to second OPs post. Impossible to contact customer support for unusual issues like this. Been randomly locked out of my brand-new XSX linked account (with GamePass) for a day now. Customer support bots just route me to unhelpful common issues that do not fit my problem. Hope you get a reply OP been a bummer for me. Locked out and recovery just gave me an error now I'm locked out for even recovery. Makes you wonder what you paid for exactly
