    Getting Z rotation on Xbox One Controller


    Hi,

    I have a Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Spider Xbox One Wheel. I recently learnt I can use it on the PC too, with the Xbox One Driver (they haven't released a PC driver). However, upon connecting I see that it only turns left, every other button works fine (I
    tried using the Microsoft Xbox One Controller driver as well as the Xbox Controller Driver, none of them solve the problem).

    After some research I realize that the z axis rotation issue was patched recently, and now there are three axes visible using any driver(earlier there were 4). Can someone tell me how I can get "Z Axis" and "Z rotation" separately?

    Currently I am getting the axes like second and third picture, hopefully the solution is to be like the first picture.

    Any help would be appreciated. If you have a solution that is different from what I am looking for that'd be great too. If you can point to a location of the old driver (which has 4 axes instead of three) that would be great too!

    XBox One Controller - Z rotation

    I have seen a lot of information about this issue and i am having different results on different computers / drivers. What I would like to know is which one is correct, should USB properties for an XBox One Controller show both a Z Rotation and a Z Axis,
    or only a Z Axis. I need to make sure we use the driver that provides the correct results.

    Xbox Wireless Controller doesn't work while is connected via bluetooth to pc.

    Hello my Xbox Wireless Controller connects to pc via bluetooth but it doesn't work. For few weeks it worked, in "joy.cpl" it was called "bluetooth XINPUT compatible input device" and in properties it had Z axis and X, Y rotation. Now it has changed randomly
    and it's called "Xbox Bluetooth Gamepad" and in properties it has only Z axis which is split on Z axis and Z rotation. It doesn't work in any game anymore. I tried installing new bluetooth drivers and i've updated controller via "xbox accesories", but nothing
    has changed.

    This is Windows 10? Changing the driver stack is not recommended or supported. The non controller devices for Xbox One(like wheels) require game side code to run to accurately interpret the controller data. That being said, could you let me know the game
    you tried this with?

    Xbox wireless adapter for Windows - only one Xbox One Wireless Controller works

    I have a similar problem, when I connect my controllers trough the wireless adapter they are not working correctly because I have a Z axis and Z Rotation. WHen I used my controller wired with a USB cable I had this problem and I could fix roll back the drivers
    and the controller went back to the original X, Y, Z Axis, but now, with the Wireless adapter, I can't do that, because I doesn't let me update, because there's no Xbox Periphals to change the driver.
