Getting Xbox X - what will I miss compared to Series X?

Hi

Will there be games for Series X, that will not run on Xbox One or Xbox X?

Thinking that Xbox X would be better, since I can use the external usb3 disk I have now.

There things I read about Series X, loading times, swapping games in a sec - does not interest me one bit.

And Series X with extension storage too will be $1000.

Games I have installed now take 1.4 GB, so not enough with internal storage.

I saw nothing previously on YT that confirmed I can launch current games I have from external usb3 drive. I thought it might be just reduced to media drive.

You will be able to run current games off of an external hard drive one the next gen consoles. 2 games that you will miss on current gen at this moment is The Medium and Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition.

Eventually there probably will be games that won't run on the One and will only run on the Series S/X. It's not happening right away.

Also, about the storage thing. You can use the same external storage device you're using for the One on the Series S/X. It can be used for backwards compatible games. Only the next-gen games would need to be on the internal storage.

The original poster bought an Xbox One S, not a Series S and was comparing it to an Xbox One X, not a Series X.

but missing some of the hardware features that are required, xbox one x is ancient tech these days, even series s is now stretching, series x is getting on a bit too.
