    I have my Xbox connected to a 1080p television with a HDMI cable and it is showing as 640x480. How do I get it to show as 1080p?

    Getting Back to Xbox Community,

    its been a while since i sold my 360 3 years back and now 'Im getting back to gaming , since the Xbox one and One S is already in the market might not considering getting 360 now as i missed some of the old gen titles, So should i get a 360 or One ? Suggestions

    Be gone XBOX 360 and hello XBOX ONE...HA HA !

    I am actually holding onto my xbox 360 as some of my friends are not getting the Xbox One until next year, also getting some the new releases on the Xbox 360 and then going to see about up trading them to the Xbox one version.

    Why is 1080p the highest resolution that looks good

    the max resolution of the xbox 360 is 1080p, when it first released it was 1080i, you will not get higher than 1080p, most of the games ran at 720p upscaled too.

    especially. The Dashboard widgets aren't particular high resolution. Most games internally render at 720p or below.
