Getting to know videos

I've recently set up an Xbox One console and tried to play the "Getting to konw your Xbox One" videos. It will play the one about Live Gold benefits but the others display a pinwheel for a few seconds and then a solid black screen until I hit the B button
to go back. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Sorry to hear you're having issues. At this time I believe the only way to get those files onto a PC is via a home network (internet enabled).

Rent it first, or at least watch some videos and know what you're getting yourself into

 

I would suggest posting in the Xbox ONE section Have You tried to use any video apps?

 

I have the YouTube app installed. I guess I should try loading the Xbox Video app and see if that makes a difference.

I looked in the Xbox One and the Support forums first, but I couldn't find a link to post a new topic in those forums so I posted the question here.

 

Try unplugging your console (do a hard reboot) and see if that helps the problem.

 

It appears that installing the Xbox Video app has solved this issue. I don't know if it was an unknown filetype, mising codec, or what, but the videos are now playing for me.
