Hi,

I'm trying to redeem two codes and always getting the message mentioned in the title of the topic.

I already tried to redeem in my Microsoft account but got the same message.

Can anyone help or knows how to solve this?

Hello. I got a problem with xbox live gold prepaid code for 3 months. I just buy it and typing in REDEE CODE and when i press done it says This code has already been used. Please enter a code that has not been used, but it wasnt used. Can you help me?

He mentions he bought a "new game," and if so, then the issue is with the product. Of course if he bought it used, then yes, the code is likely already redeemed.

If you bought a code from a brick and mortar store your best bet would be to return for them to have them fix it.

If it is from a digital store contacting them is best.

If it was directly from MS contacting chat support is your best bet via https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us

On the console, it will only tell you that the code has already been used. It will not give you a date or time. It may be possible that the person who originally purchashed the code can check this though. Did you get it from someone who purchased it for
you, like for a gift? Or from a retailer? I don't know of a way that you can see the time or date that it was redeemed. I think perhaps, only the person who originally purchased the code may be able to find this out.

The best thing to do I think is try going to the retailer you bought the product from if the code is indeed already used and ask for a replacement.
