    Okay, I'll try to keep this short but I'm coming to you guys as a last resort.

    I'm an American living in Austria right now and have brought my American bought Xbox One over here. Everything has worked perfectly for the past 5 months, but suddenly yesterday I couldn't login to any games. My xbox can connect to the internet just fine,
    I can watch Netflix and Youtube videos, but when I try to play games, they say I don't have a connection.

    It seems my Xbox One has stopped giving me a NAT reading. When I test multiplayer connection, I get the "Teredo IP" error, and when I go to detailed network statistics my detailed NAT settings are "Your network is behind a firewall" Any ideas on what I
    could do. It's so weird because I played until 2am one night, woke up at 10am and went straight to play again and couldn't. What could have happened overnight?

    Current city: Gmunden, Austria

    Console: Xbox One (bought in the USA)

    Router: Western Digital My Net N750

    Connection: I've tried both wireless and wired

    Yes, NAT type shows strict and testing the multiplayer connection yields this error: 'Can't get a Teredo IP address'

    Can't find wireless network

    Yup tried unplugging it all and starting afresh but no luck.

    The wired network seems to work but when I test the multiplayer connection it complains that it 'cannot get a teredo IP address'. Whatever that is...

    Thanks for all the wonderful responses...anyways, the only solution that worked for me was restoring my Xbox to factory settings. I've rebooted it up and I am now connected to the internet with an open NAT. So weird.

    I talked to Xbox support. This is what i got to fix this issue. It requires some Router GUI configuration.

    Xbox Live requires the following ports to be open:

    • Port 88 (UDP)

    • Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    • Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    • Port 80 (TCP)

    • Port 500 (UDP)

    • Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)

    And also have the UpNp be enabled.

    Connection test works. It's connected fine. Then I go to multiplayer test and get an error "Can't get Teredo IP address"

    Details as to my config.

    Cable goes to Arris modem.

    Arris modem is set to bridge mode.

    Arris modem connected via ethernet to Apple airport extreme, which acts as wifi router for my house.

    airport extreme ALSO has an ethernet cable connected directly to the xbox one.

    But I'm still getting strict nat.

    Plus the "can't get teredo IP" error.

    When I test my multiplayer connection the exact error is.

    Can’t get teredo ip address. The fix it recommended is to unplug the power from the router for 30 seconds then plug it back, but that doesn’t work
