    Getting strange red and green lines on my screen - but only when using my projector


    Can anyone explain this? I get these strange green / red horizontal lines on some screens when using my Xbox One with my projector. I have tried a different HDMI cable but still the same issue. I don't get this issue using other devices with the projector
    (Mac Mini, Xbox 360, PS4 etc). If I plug the XBOX One into a TV I don't get this issue.

    whats wrong with it?

    It could be the cable your using, I was getting green lines on my screen and when I moved my hdmi cable they stopped. I bought myself a new one and I have never had the lines since.

    I've been having this same problem since the last update, and I'm using HDMI straight to a Sony 55es projector. Not only has the screen been cutting to black, but a blue line randomly flicks when using the dashboard.

    It could be the cable your using, I was getting green lines on my screen and when I moved my hdmi cable they stopped. I bought myself a new one and I have never had the lines since.

    help with hooking up xbox 360 to acer c112 projector

    The Acer c112 projector shows the PAL-60 output, but colours are really messed up (reds and flesh tones are green!!) and lines run throughout the screen. is this an Acer fault or a xbox fault? btw when i play dvds whilst on PAL-60 everything is fine....
    I'm confussed as to what is going wrong with PAL-60 signal on the games side.

    Any further help or suggestions Zacabeb?

    before I take the projector back for a refund.... as I can't just play 50hz games as none of the games now state on the box if its PAL 50 or 60 anymore.

    As for my video switcher, i realized that the component cable that comes with the 360 actually needs the other inputs (green, and red jacks) to display full color as tested when i plugged it directly to my tv. Using a video selector switch only gives me
    one video input (yellow) ...so my theory is that is why i can only see it in black and white which is odd because initially i was getting full color when only plugging in the blue video jack...strange.

    Can you verify that it isn't the projector?

    Uninstall the app and then reinstall. Does the green tint appear on a regular screen, or is it just on the projector?
