    Hiya,

    got handed the Rock Band kit for xbox 360 (guitar and drum). I don’t have the game on CD, can i download it or do i need to buy the game on hard copy first?

    Which Rock Band? There were a number of Rock Bands released on the 360. They might be available digitally? I'd have to check on that, but if so I could provide a link.

    Do you know what version the kit was for? I feel like they made all 360 version kits compatible, but again, we'd want to check on that.

    You can indeed buy it physically or digitally & can still connect your guitar & Drums regardless.

    Go to my games and apps,

    If you navigate to rock band on your xbox one,

    Press start,

    Then select manage rock band,

    Then navigate to ready to install,

    are your songs there to download?

    For Rock Band 1 you need to start the original game, choose to export and pay the export fee. For Rock Band 2 you need to choose the export option, enter the code from the Rock Band 2 manual and pay the export fee. If you do not have the original discs/manuals
    you will not be able to export the songs.
