    Getting spammed!


    So I was getting spammed with messeges from a group of 30 people. I dont have anyone of these people on my friendslist. I left the group and they added me again and ofcourse I got really annoyed so i wrote
    "[Mod Removed]" and I got suspended from party and messeges instantly.

    What was wrong with my messege?

    Is it ok to spam people and annoy people like that?

    [Mod Removed] Add a filter so people can choose not to get messeges from
    [Mod Removed] that troll!

    Profanity is a violation of the code of conduct. So the message you sent violated the code of conduct resulting in your suspension. In situations like that, block them and report them instead of responding. There is a system in place to only receive messages
    from your friends.

    Hey there,

    It is never okay to violate the Code of Conduct, even in response to someone else violating it. Your use of profane language is what caused the enforcement action.

    If you block these individuals, they would be unable to send messages to you.

    First all to stop any message from that person, open that person's gamertag, from your "Recent Players" list on your console, and click "Block Communication". You should also file a complaint on his gamertag for harassment.

    Secondly, in order to stop random people spamming you, do the following:

    • Click on the "My Account" button on the top of this very page.
    • Scroll down, and under "Safety" click "Manage my privacy and online safety"
    • On this page, under "Communicate with voice and text (Xbox 360: Voice and Text)", select either "Friends Only", or "Block" (I'd recommend "Friends Only").
