Getting someone banned

So last night I was playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 and this kid on the opposing team didn't like the way I was playing, granted I'm new to the game and only know how to do a select number of things, like use the force to throw people off cliffs and such.
Anyway, this kid starts messaging me, trying to get a reaction out of me, I reacted, and he proceeded to report the one message i sent back to him, and got me banned. After I got an enforcement notice, I immediately filed an appeal and got it overturned. I
then reported all the messages he sent to me last night, figuring he would get the ban hammer as well. When I woke up this morning, he continued to spam me, which obviously means no action was taken against him. I NEVER go out of my way to get someone banned,
this is a first, but if he's really able to spam me messages over and over again, going to the extent of asking "what my ugly [mod removed] looks like" and I'm the one who gets banned for saying "I hope you'd be better than me [mod removed]" then xbox has
some MAJOR enforcement changes they need to make.

So my question, when is xbox going to make it not impossible to reach out to the enforcement team, not just through filing appeals.

best bet is to report and block this person once blocked and reported this will be looked in to by the enforcement team

There are different types of enforcement punishment they may have received a different kind of suspension

The best you can do is to report and block that person, do not reply them, it gets worse.

They probably won't. It's not necessary. As long as you did report the other person, they will be investigated as well and the enforcement team will take the appropriate action. Just because he didn't get a suspension at the same time as you, doesn't mean
he won't get one. In the future, it's best to just report them and block communications with them.

There is a fine line between smack talk and cyberbullying and remember you are dealing with a stranger. Block as a primary option and report if you think necessary. I would suggest not to engage that it would never turn out to be good.
