Getting rid of an Xbox live account

wr have a second hand xbox 360.

we want Xbox live but the old account details are still set up. The old email address is there but we don't know the password.

How do we delete this account so we can add our own payment details etc.

When I delete my profile does everything go with it on my hard drive

so I'm getting rid of my Xbox and going to sell it, so I deleted my profile. When a new person who makes an account and gets Xbox live, will they get acces to my PayPal account? i don't want them to.

A) If you can't reset the parental email addresse, go to
http://account.live.com/acsr SAVE THE EMAILS SENT TO YOU



B) If that fails, contact Support and provide them with the Console ID number from Settings | System | Console Settings | System Info (it's on the 2nd line) and the reference number from the email sent to you in Step A, and submit a UE Request.



It is faster to have the Agent call you by going to

If you go to your Settings, then System, then choose your storage device, choose Profiles and then choose the profile(s) you don't want and delete them.
