Getting Revenge on a Hacker / Tail

Can someone explain how to go after someone who has hacked or tailed you? I keep hearing the game talk about this but the few times I had the opportunity to avenge myself against a hacker etc., I was unable to figure out how to locate them to exact revenge.
In one case I would have liked to given I was hacked after putting the controller down for a few moments to address a real world issue that was going on. I came back only to find that some opportunistic knucklehead had hacked me as I stood there totally defenseless
and away from the controller. Any direction on how this works would be greatly appreciated as the in-game instructions seem rather vague to me.

Curiosity Killed The Gamer.

If you're into 2D hack n' slash games, I highly recommend giving Dust: An Elysian Tail
a go. I first played it three months after getting it from Games with Gold and it engrossed me. Easily put 25 hours onto that game. I highly recommend it.

I haven't gotten it yet either, I hack on the same tail through the whole time and it never disconnects!

At some point in a short span of time after the invasion, you might get a remote profiling trigger for a retaliation against a recent invader. That's about the only way i know about it, and it dosen't always work because of connections.

The higher your notoriety the more you get invaded. It also helps to hack into Blume affiliates around the city, just look for NPC's who's work has anything to do with Blume and hack them. 9 out of 10 times they will call Blume up and put a bounty on you,
let the call go though, it will make you more available to other players when searching for a fixer to hack.

The best way is to hack other though, go on a stint of say three hacks, and try not to get defeated when people try to hack you.

If you're trying to get the traced achievement just tail loads of people, it gives them the option of tailing back their nemesis to get revenge, meaning you're more likely to be tailed by people.

Pause the game occasionally when just roaming around, if you notice the world still moving behind the pause screen you're being invaded. Obviously if you don't see the backdoor progress bar flash up then they're tailing you, just keep your phone away so
you don't profile them by accident and let them do it.

well good luck, it seems you are on the tail end of it at least. I just filed the claim this weekend.. had to transfer from my savings just to keep my account from over drafting thanks to this hacker.
