Getting pre owned console

So I have a ps4 that im going to trade for an xbox one. I have 5 games all on disks for my ps4. the guy that wants to trade with me has 5 digital games on his xbox one. will these games stay with the console when I sign in with my profile? can he just get
another xbox one and take the games back with his gamer tag? don't wanna get ripped off any help or advice would be great thanks in advance

were the games new or pre owned? i've had pre owned games with scratches on that have played on my console but not my sons

Keep your 360. If you don't mind pre owned maybe look at getting a pre owned XB1? Its what I did and saved well over £100 (this was before the kinectless option and before the titanfall £350 bundle). But if you look around you should be able to get a pre
owned XB1 for cheap depending where you live.

1) All downloaded content (ie those 5 digital games) are attached to the gamertag that bought them. While it will be possible to play those games on your gamertag, the moment he does a license transfer (which he will do the moment
he goes onto a new console), you will lose the ability to play them.

2) If the console is banned from Xbox Live, then you will never be able to play the console online, because the ban is permanent, regardless of who owns the console.

3) Accessing those games could make you at risk of being accused of "Marketplace Theft", and could get your account (and/or the console) banned from Xbox Live.

Keep your PS4 until such time as you can afford a new Xbox One. If you do want to trade for used, then go to a reputable store that has a robust return policy. Also, get those games on disk.
