Getting my Xbox live tag back!!

I haven't played in awhile due to a broken Xbox. I would like to recover my tag, but I can't get my security code to work. I know all the info for the account as its mine but I can't recover it as I forgot my password. I am wondering if I cab get some help.
I've tried the email that was sent to my new email but it got me nowhere. The tag is xX Lucian89 Xx

Gamertag changes

way back in 2000/01 when I first started xbox and live I had a gamer tag. While travelling, I let my subscription slide and had to create a new tag on my return. Is there any way of getting the old tag back ?

You may want to start your own thread rather than jumping on to another. However when you perform a console factory reset it does remove all accounts from the console and those need to be readded using the email address and password. You can use the add
account option from the sign in screen
