    Hello there everyone, I am making this post about an Xbox account that I made when the Big gamer tag reset happened in 2016. I made the gamer tag named
    [Mod Removed - Personal Information] as you can tell if you search it up the account has absolutely nothing on it and has just been sitting there ever since. I recently came back to Xbox and cannot in anyway find out what the email for the
    account could be. Is there any way Xbox could assist me in recovering the account back as it still to this day sits there with no use or purpose.

    Getting my Xbox live tag back!!

    I haven't played in awhile due to a broken Xbox. I would like to recover my tag, but I can't get my security code to work. I know all the info for the account as its mine but I can't recover it as I forgot my password. I am wondering if I cab get some help.
    I've tried the email that was sent to my new email but it got me nowhere. The tag is xX Lucian89 Xx

    You would want to contact support. As long as you can verify you are the owner of the account, they can get you the email. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or Contact Us | Xbox Support

    I did a factory reset on my Xbox one console and my gamer tag wont show up and i cant find it in settings

    You may want to start your own thread rather than jumping on to another. However when you perform a console factory reset it does remove all accounts from the console and those need to be readded using the email address and password. You can use the add
    account option from the sign in screen

    Maybe I’m not explaining this right.

    I restarted my console this morning when I signed back in I didn’t read things correctly and used my email and password to sign in and then started with a new gamer tag with the same email as my old gamer tag.

    Now when I sign in it’s my new gamer tag that pops up. I tried deleting the new tag off my console and resigning in but again the new gamer tag pops up.

    There is no option to look for tags associated with the same email???

    All my purchased games and game pass is associated with my old gamer tag. How do I get my old gamer tag back with this email and onto my console???

    You had to have used a different email for the new account. Its simply not possible to have two accounts under the same exact email.

    If you tried it would say the account already exists
