    Getting Minecraft Bedrock Edition on the wrong Microsoft Account [NOT XBOX]


    As a note, the category selected for this account IS Xbox. However, there were no other options which seemed to be related to the Microsoft Store, so I'm posting this here.

    Lately, I wanted to join a Minecraft Realm with a few friends of mine online, but they were all using the Bedrock version of Minecraft. After finding out I could get the Bedrock version for free using my Java account, I thought I'd give it a go! Unfortunately,
    after getting the Key for it and getting the game it seems that that occurred using an account where the email has been completely deactivated. (That's the account I'm writing this question on). So now I can't log into the Microsoft Store with said account
    to download the game.

    Does anybody know if there's a way to move a game from one account to another?

    Edit: This account is weird on where it works an doesn't work. I can log into here and my Xbox Account for instance, but I can't log into the Microsoft Store.

    Can I get Minecraft: Java Edition for free if I bought Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and i linked the Microsoft account?
    No. The java and bedrock edition are completely separate from eachother so if you want the java edition you will have to purchase it

    New Minecraft launcher won't connect since I changed my main alias from my Microsoft account.

    When Minecraft stopped working, I used my Microsoft account. And this issue happened after I changed my main alias from E-Mail 2 to E-Mail 1. I can play Minecraft if I log in with my E-Mail 2.

    I purchased Minecraft on my Mojang account before the migration, but I don't use my mojang account and that Microsoft account that was migrated to.

    With my Mojang account (E-Mail 1) migrated to Microsoft account (E-Mail 4) I bad the Java Edition. With my first Microsoft account (E-Mail 1, now 3) I had Minecraft Bedrock Edition. And with the other MIcrosoft account (E-Mail 2, now 1) I have both Java and Bedrock.

    I purchased Minecraft Bedrock Edition on my Microsoft Account (E-Mail 1, now 3) from the Microsoft Store and I purchased Minecraft Bedrock Edition on my Microsoft account (E-Mail 2, now 1) from the Microsoft Store but the Java Edition I purchased from minecraft.net. On my Mojang account (E-Mail 1, now migrated to Microsoft Account with E-Mail 3) I bought Minecraft Java from minecraft.net.

    I would assume you are trying to download on a windows pc.

    You will have to install the minecraft launcher first.

    To play Minecraft: Java Edition, download and install the correct launcher for your operating system. Sign into the Launcher using your Microsoft account, and you will be able to run Java Edition.

    To play Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, you will need a device running Windows 10 or 11 to download and install the newest version of the Launcher, within which you can launch and play Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Sign into the Launcher using your Microsoft account, and you will be able to run Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

    So the issue is not to create the account now, is that you wanna get the Minecraft Java edition on your account

    Only the account that made the purchase of the bedrock edition can get the java edition for free
