    Getting logged out of my account when I try to connect to Xbox Live


    I have been having issues logging into my Xbox Live account on my Xbox One X for the last 3 days. If I disconnect from the internet (i.e. unplug the ethernet cable from the Xbox) and turn it on and off, I can log into my account on the Xbox - but of course
    I'm not connected to Xbox Live. When I then choose to connect to Xbox live from the dashboard it signs me out of the account and won't let me sign back in - so can't get friends list, access games online, etc....basically becomes worthless. Can someone help
    please?

    Netflix and Amazon Prime, one account 2 xbox. Help

    Just logged out of my live and retried Netflix says I need to log into Xbox live ? Do you all have home option selected on one Xbox or something

    I have a password logging on my live account but that should not matter

    And yes Netflix asks to sign into live when I try to use it. I have tried to remove Netflix signed out of live and tried to reinstall it but again asks to sing into live

    XBox Live Account not connecting

    New to XBOX! I created a free profile on my PC using my live.com account. I tried to connect to XBox live, I used the original gamertag that the system gave to me when I tried to connect to Live. Didn't work. It told me "This Windows Live ID ia associated
    with a differnt gamerta. Enter anohter Windows Live ID and Password."

    So I logged out of everything on my PC..I thought maybe I logged in wrong....nope. I used the right account and password. I checked my xbox live account and the correct email address is used to try to log onto the XBox.

    So...I changed my gamertag (actually I didn't realize that I could, so I did) It is still giving me the same error. I quit unless I get help. Bought this for my son to play online with his friends, having mega problems getting it set up, but nothing that
    I haven't been able to figure out. This one has me stumped. Help

    Can't Login, but system can connect to live.

    Sounds like I'm having the same problem. I started a post with;

    "I can't get logged/signed into my account and connected to xbox live at the same time. It just started tonight. If I do a network connection test it logs me out, and THEN I'm connected to xbox live. But if I try to log into my profie/account it kicks me
    off of my live connection!"

    GTA V social club connection.

    Every time i try to connect my xbox account, I get this error:

    Unable to authenticate with Xbox Live network. Please ensure your account is an Xbox Live account. (My xbox live is still good and working)
    It also says invalid login data when i try linking it when logged int to the social club.

    The profile is connected to an xbox live account, however when i try to log into the live account i receive an error stating there is an issue with my credentials.

    Sorry to butt in here but I'm having the exact same problem as Big Jay 198. I know my console is connected because when I sign out of my account I can view all of the online features; however, when I try and log in I get the "Disconnected from Xbox Live"

    This is usually due to temporary connection problems with Xbox live accounts. Can you try logging out, then logging in to your xbox live account? Here are instructions: windows.microsoft.com/.../sign-in-out-of-windows
