    Getting logged out again.


    Is anyone else getting booted out of their live account during game play? I'm trying to play a game and it suddenly logs me out with out saving. I'm not even necessarily connected to live it does this. Does this have anything to do with the maintenance from
    the 27th?

    Getting logged out during game play

    The only way that I can connect is by putting in my ip address that I know works. Then test connection. It logs in saying that I am connected to xbox live. I then start game play on black ops(or any online game), sign in, find a match and begin playing.
    Within 5 minutes of playing I get a connection error message and I am dropped from the room. Then within another minute I am logged out of xbox live. Try to log back in and says I can't connect to blackops server and will have to go through the whole process
    again. I have no problem with my other xbox, just this one. It is a MW2 special edition if that makes a difference.

    There's been no hacking. Getting logged out again. :) The issue you're referring to this morning is part of a Service Alert:

    Please verify that your browser is not preventing a login pop-up from the Microsoft site.

    Access the site using an alternative browser or enable your browser's incognito/InPrivate mode.

    Additionally, ensure that you clear your browser cache and cookies.

    If that still does not work, please, reset your connection:

    Press Windows Key + X > Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings > Network Reset > Reset Now.

    I understand how frustrating this issue can be. I'd like to help you find a solution.

    Are you trying to log into the website in a browser like Edge, on the Xbox App, or on a console?

    If you're trying to login with Edge, go ahead and delete the cache and cookies with the steps here:

    If you're trying to sign in on the console, try clearing the cache on your console:

    1. Turn off the console by holding the power button for 10 seconds.

    2. Unplug the power cable from the back.

    3. Wait at least 10 seconds.

    4. Plug the power cable back in.

    5. Turn the console back on.

    If you're trying to login on the Xbox App, try resetting the Xbox App by following these steps:

    1. Press Win + I to open Settings.

    2. Navigate to Apps and then Installed apps.

    3. Scroll through the list and find System components.

    4. Locate "Xbox App" click on the three-dot menu, and choose Advanced options.

    5. First, try clicking Repair to see if that resolves the problem. If the issue continues, select Reset.

    Also, reset the Microsoft Store app by pressing the Win + R key and type:

    wsreset.exe

    this link    , it's the one Epic suggested. Keep it for future reference as it's where they announce wen they have various faults.

    It could just be an issue on your end. I would try and reset the router and see if that helps.
