Discus and support Getting kicked from a game for a preview download in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I don't think the preview download should be done in the middle of a game.     I don't think the preview download should be done in the middle of a game. My online games are expensive to play when I get kicked off line.

    I've tried this as well still getting kicked. It's only recently started happening. Could it be the xbox itself I've only had it for about a month? Just odd it only happens on this game

    Have you tried the steps that I shared in the other forum that you posted about your Halo 4 connection error in? Mainly, I would like you to try the steps for downloading your Xbox LIVE profile that I shared there.

    Set your console to "Instant on" then you won't get kicked for downloads.

    In your consoles settings click on "power & start up" & you change change it there.

    I assume this is on the xbox one ?

    connection issues , are you using a gateway from your isp ? ... its been happening a lot with isp issued equipment here lately ...

    Sorry to hear it. Can you please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that resolves the problem?
