Getting help with refund.

To add to my last post.

Virtual currency is not like games where if MS refunds you for the game they can take away the license for the game and you would not be able to play it anymore.

With virtual currency they would not be able to take the currency back for these items. If MS does give refunds for these types of items and the publisher has given the money back to MS to give back to the player I have seen posts where the publisher will
put a negative balance on the account and possibly suspend the account from playing the game till the balance is brought up to date.

If you are talking about like virtual currency for games like V-bucks this would be handled normally through the publisher.

Microsoft is only the middle man and all that they can see is that the transaction went through.

They can not see if you received the items or not.

The publisher of the game can see that information and would normally ask you for proof of the purchase which you can see in your order history at account.microsoft.com

The publishers also have policies in regards to things like this.

How did you call Xbox Support?

For several months already they changed the way on how to contact support. You usually can't call them yourself, but instead have to go through the
Contact Xbox Support website and have them call you back. So whatever you managed to dial, it's probably not the current support hotline.

Also check on your order history at https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/ that your order actually went through, or if there was a purchase issue in the
first place. Maybe a payment didn't go through, and that's the reason you didn't get the in-game currency.

Also you might want to contact the publisher of the game you bought the currency for (e.g. Epic Games if you bought Fortnite V-Bucks, Rockstar Games support if you bought GTA Online Shark Cash Cards, or Red Dead Online Gold, etc.) Show them that your order
on the Xbox order history went through, and they could check why the in-game currency didn't go through.

Well unfortunately Xbox only allows a certain number of refunds.

I think Xbox's support page explains it best. I quote Xbox's Digital Game Purchase Refund Terms "If it appears refunds are being abused, we reserve the right to stop offering them except where legally
required" and "All sales of Digital Game Products are considered final, but we understand there may be extenuating circumstances. When you request a refund for these products, and depending on the
purchase or content type in determining refund eligibility, we consider a variety of factors like time since date of purchase, time since release, and use of the product."

Well the purchases. Where all onn the same day im not abusin any terms since i didn't receive the items i contacted publisher they said i had to deal with microsoft since ised its market place .
