Getting green screen or freezing up while watching videos on Hulu and Netflix, but the audio ...

This has been happening the last couple of days and my connection is fine. I can play multiplayer games online with no problems, but when I go to watch a video it will freeze up or lag and eventually go to a green screen but the audio is still working perfectly.
It's weird on Hulu because the channel icon is still in the bottom right corner. Does anybody have a fix for this?

Hulu Plus & Netflix Unresponsive

I have the exact same problem, especially with Netflix. They also work fine on my computer but then on the Xbox One Hulu sometimes doesn't load any videos, on Netflix it'll load them, but more than half of the time it gets choppy: the screen freezes while
the audio keeps going. I exit and go back in, sometimes an hour later, and it still happens making the app basically unusable!

Green Screen while trying to watch any kind of video. Xbox One

While trying to watch Netflix, YouTube, or things on upload, the screen is green and there's flickering and stuff in the upper left hand corner. I can play games fine, but I can't do any kind of streaming. Please help, I love watching netflix and I can't
on my xbox..

I found a solution, go to settings then go to storage. Click on clear local saved games, it should restart your xbox. After that it should be working fine, because i had the same problem.

I've been experiencing the same thing over the past few days ( live video streams or recorded video streams stutters and then eventually stops as audio continues, screen sometimes goes blank (green), stuttering video looks like it's skips frames forwards
and backwards in a loop ). The same problem has occurred in these apps : Amazon Instant Video, YouTube, CBS News, and ABC News. I could have checked other apps, but what's the point? It's got to be affecting all video apps I'm sure. I checked both full screen
and Snap video for all these apps and the problem is the same.

XBox Live on the XBox One has been a terrible experience for me over the past year or two. This is just the latest problem. One buys a game console or set-top box to get AWAY FROM this troubleshooting nonsense.

You know the little short video that plays on an xbox one x before the xbox green screen logo? Thats when its static/snowy. Then it shows the normal xbox logo. When trying to use any video streaming app is when all i see is green screen with audio.

I tried what you suggested, it went to 680x680 like you said but it only dispayed the static/snowy screen in lower quality and still experienced the green screen with audio only on netflix and hulu.
