    Getting Games conundrum


    So I have a friend that does not have an Xbox one yet but is planning to this year. What I was wondering is if before he does. Can he put his gamer tag on my xbox one and be able to get credit for the games for gold just by being signed in or will I have
    to switch profiles and purchase them so his account gets credit? Can anyone explain this for me. I don't want him to miss out on games.

    You would have to be signed into his account in order for the games to show up in his purchase history so he can redownload them. He could also download them via the website, or through the 360 if he has one.
