Getting fed up with SLOW INTERFACE!

The interface update has been a joke, how long has this console been out and they're still designing the interface! Give me the old one back, at least I could scroll, profile pages, achievements and feed without it FREEZING UP CONSTANTLY! The only way to
loosen it up is to hit the home button then start again. On achievements the thing scrolls all over the place and hangs constantly. Complete garbage, but it's Windows based so that doesn't surprise me at all. Get this interface fixed so it's snappy and RESPONSIVE!

Every weekend i have problems with xbox live, i reported this last weekend....i did everything you said, and its still the same, its not on im paying for this and the time i use it the most and it keeps disconnecting me from internet!!!! I'm also paying
for sky and cant use it because it keeps disconnecting me! My internet connection is fine because i am able to send you this!!! Very angry!!!!

 

I find the new UI is a lot faster and less clunky than the previous dashboard.

Is your console always on instant on mode? If so swap it to power saver and turn it off every now and again, then switch it back to instant on. Is the connection to xbox live wireless? If so try a Ethernet connection. It's a few things you could try.

 

slow network = slow performance - mines fast and snappy

 

Slow? Not at all. Mine flies through menus.

I have the same if not almost the same problem as you do, but I managed to fix it and I hope that my trick also fixes your problem

The power brick on my Xbox One has the white light on it (I am not sure which power mode my Xbox One is running).

When I first turn on my console, the vertical communications bar (it has the messages, notification alerts, etc...) is either super ultra sluggish or downright unusable if I immediately do not do the following...

(1) Go to the gear / sprocket icon

(2) Restart console

This takes about 1 minute and 30 seconds extra, but everything works flawlessy afterwards

I use Wi-Fi and I have 4 out ot 4 bars of signal strength 75% of the time.

3 out of 4 bars of signal strenght 25% of the time.

I know for a fact that the sluggish / unusable communications bar is not a problem witt my Xbox One's internet connection.

Runs fine for me as well.Much faster & more responsive than the old dash although there are a couple things that need to be sorted.

 

As Auswulf has said earlier on, leaving it in instant on causes me a lot of problems, if I power down completely and power back up it usually whizzes away again.

 

Yeah,for some reason "instant on" always sets my NAT to strict but never any problems when in "energy saving" mode.

 

If my Xbox acts up I go to settings and hit the restart console icon and everything works.

I have had that happen also, a restart in the settings seems to fix it for me.

 

Yeah,i do that or reset my router but it always goes back to strict after a while.

No biggie to me as I have mine in Energy saving anyway now,don't mind the odd update when I turn my console on.

 

Yeah I had to restart twice to get my NAT to open this morning. I wonder why? I mean the old OS never reset my NAT.

It's an easy fix but still....why?

 

FREEZING UP CONSTANTLY doesn't happen. Just saying...if so you should return your console and call it done...LMK how it works out...
