Getting error message "Fines can not be downloaded from rockstar" anyone else having ...

did anyone else get the $500,000 from rockstar yet??

Actually, I re-tested things and appeared to have solved my problem.

For anyone else that might be reading this:

Turn off your firewall and download the update. It will download but fail to apply the update and give the error message above.

Accept the error message and then turn off your console. Turn it back on and it should be fine. At least it was for me.

Does anyone else get an error pop up when the game starts?

I get a message saying something along the lines of "The Downloadable Content Faces appears to be corrupt or damaged and cannot be loaded".

Update: I have messaged Rockstar on their support site about the Social Club error, to see if they can help.

Yes I am signed up for the Rockstar Social Club. If I log onto the Social Club website on my phone I can see that it is recording my stats from playing. But for some reason I can't access it in game.

To check, have you signed up for a Rockstar Social Club account? Once you sign in with that and then sign into Xbox Live, you should be able to download the content from the in-game marketplace.

The synchronization failed message appears to be an error on Rockstar's side of things with the Social Club. Keep us in the loop with what's up.

Does anyone else get errors within the App where it stops streaming as well? The error message says something about my internet connection, yet the stream can be restarted fine most of the time.

FWIW, I do not get this issue in Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime.
