    Hey guys. I have recently been getting this error code(0x8027025a). It all started when I did purchased Gears of War 4 digitally. Initially, Gears of War 4 was the only game that would give me this error. I was just ignoring it and playing my other games
    thinking it was just a bad install and figured that I'd just redownload and install at a later time. When I finally got around to redownloading it, I tried to play Titanfall 2 while GOW4 was downloading and started to get the same error on TFall 2. So this
    made me think that something wasn't right. After GOW4 finished downloading, i tried to boot to only get the same error.

    This is when the trouble shooting began. First, I held down the power button for about 5-10 seconds for it to completely shut down, booted up, tried opening a game, same error. Then I tried to disconnect the power cord after shutting down, same error. Then
    I tried without my ethernet cable disconnected, same error. Next was a reset, first was the option to keep my games, no luck. Then I tried the option to restore the entire Xbox, but I started to get an E102 error during the restore. I tried it about 3 times
    and it kept crashing during the set up. So this had me concerned, but I eventually tried to boot from a flash drive as I had read it online. This got my Xbox to power up again, normally. I popped in my TFall2 disc to install and began to redownload GOW4. Came
    back a few hours later to see that both games had finished installing so I tried to boot TFall2, bam! Same error. Tried GOW4, same error.

    So here I am, with an Xbox that can't open any of games. Please help.

    Xbox One Games Won't Start

    Yup! No code, at least I don't get any, sometimes the (0x8027025a) appears.

    I can see on your
    Xbox.com profile     that you were able to play Madden 17 this weekend. Are you still experiencing the error with Titanfall 2 and Gears of War 4? If so, can you navigate to Network Settings under the Settings menu on your Xbox One console and provide us with
    your Detailed Network Statistics please? Also, what is the make/model of your networking hardware and your ISP?

    xbox one black screen

    goes to screen with error message 0x8027025a. but can not get out of that screen. yes it started yesterday

    Hi

    Before I try this can i just check something? I know it removes the account but I can put that back on, but I bought a game online which is stored on the box. Restoring to factory settings will erase game data but would I also lose the game and need to buy
    it again. As it was bought online I don't have a disk. Sorry if I appear a bit dim, I'm a novice user.
