    Getting error codes update loop!


    I have an original Xbox One and when I turn it on it tries to apply an update but says something went wrong. I have tried literally everything, restarting it,restoring it,power cycle, offline update, nothing seems to work. I have tried using OSU1,2, and
    3 but when I try to apply the update it instantly goes to the something went wrong screen. What is interesting is the first error code is e102 then after trying to do anything noted previously the console indicates e101. Now I know I can't just simply open
    it up replace the hard drive and apply the update. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it. I'm not aware if this is a hardware failure or just simply a corrupted hard drive. Thanks!

    I'm also curious to know since the Xbox is out of warranty and not worth sending it in for repair, couldn't I open it up replace the hard drive and try doing the update this way. Now I know the hard drive in these consoles are specially programmed and
    this method may not work but my console wasn't "bricked" by me but by Microsoft themselves I feel. I just wanted to post this and ask the community about it! Thank you for those who have tried helping me!

    Out of curiosity and seeing as nobody else has asked, are you in the Xbox Insider Preview program? If you are Off Line updates will not work.

    I don't think so, because the Xbox turns on and goes straight to updating, then something went wrong,you try all options available to you then all of them goes to the something went wrong screen! Thank you
