Getting Error 0x87b20c08 No Apps or Games Will Start! (Very slow Loading)

Hello today I turned on my Xbox one and it started fine, it started but did not connect to Xbox live so I click connect to Xbox live and it connected right away. I just started to download the Outlast game that was free for gold members when I got and installation
stopped and then a few seconds later my account signed out, I went back to the home screen to see I was signed out but still able to see my friends online and that was surprising to me so i tried to sign in again and I was able to sign in but the connect to
Xbox live option on the right appeared again. I clicked it and now everything I try to click on to do just does not open most OS apps just immediately say that they can not open and all games hang for about 2 minutes then say it could not be opened. I tried
turning off my Xbox one with the controller and holding the power (I have not tried unplugging it for a reset maybe??) But yeah nothing works it can't open the basic apps to see if I'm connected in the settings it will not connect to Xbox live and it will
not open any games. I'm currently signed in but can't do anything. Please Help!

XBOX BARELY WORKS!

I keep getting the error code 0x87b20c08 and it seems that my xbox just doesn't want to work. Installs will not work and when trying to launch games and apps it simply says: "For some reason (application) has taken too long to start" Any
help on this will be great.

If you can msg on xbox live @ with help/solutions that would be great.

 

Cannot join xbox live party.

I have the option to join live parties or start them but when I try to do so nothing happen. the writing isn't grey it's white but nothing happens. I go down stair and log on my brothers xbox and I can join parties no problem. also keep getting this error
code 0x87b20c08 but nothing when I look fornit

 

I tried unplugging my two controllers and my external 2TB drive and powering it down and unplugging it for about 5 minutes. It looks like it loaded up now but is still very slow! I plugged in my external drive again and it took about 5min to recognize it...
very unusual. All my games appear to be there, I still do not connect to Xbox live right away when I sign in. I will try signing in and launching some stuff to report back.

 

Tried to connect but still says connect to xbox live on the home screen on dashboard on the right side. I can see my friends still as if im connected but I'm not. Good news is i started

up a game but it took a little while and then said could not retrieve

cloud save. Asking to connect or use game offline. I tried to click sync

but I kept failing saying I'm offline.... So I then just chose offline

and the game started up, this is very weird and hope to get a response

on what is going on? I looked up the error code and nothing was found

and was told to post about here so I hope I can get some answeres.. Thanks!

 

Ok I was signed out randomly again and signed back in, its asking for me to sync but when I do it says it fails, assuming cause of the connection issue of being offline but still online at the same time?? I also forgot to mention I'm running wireless connection.
I don't know why that would be causing the slowness of the xbox one but Im going to remove the network and try to re-connect to it.

 

Ok removed the network and added it again but it says it failed and want me to unplug the routers power for 30seconds because it can not get an IP address?

 

Ok I tried to do what it said but popped up the same internet problem can't get an IP address asking to unplug the power for 30 seconds.

 

Ok so It still does not want to connect... I clicked on connect to xbox live from the left menu where you can get settings and everything, it loaded fine and showed the info of my network everything appeared fine but waiting on that screen it kept appearing
info then saying that it was not connected to anything then right back to connected? I clicked on MAC address and clicked clear and it asked to restart the xbox one.

 

Have good news! I pluged in my computers Ethernet and it connected and signed me in really quickly i clicked on check connection and Xbox multiplayer connection everything is fine now, and the response time of all menus is fast like it should be???? Why
the heck is the wireless so messed up? and why would it effect the whole console like it did. I dont know what caused this it is completely random I hope my problem is fixed with just using a wired connection but i will try to use the wireless again to see
what happens i hope we can find out what is wrong here.

 

Ok final update when I unplugged the ethernet it automatically connected to the network even though I was not able to successfully add it back earlier?? So I have no clue what is happening here. Everything appears normal now with the wireless as well only
thing is it is saying that I have a Moderat NAT now but its ok at least my Xbox is working now lol. Hope this gets fixed for what ever happened the error code is in the title above so hope support / devs can figure this out, it is very weird that this crippled
my system like that.... so I guess plugging in a etherent to reset the wireless kind of worked, so hope this helps others with simular problems.

 

Ok guys another update unfortunately.... My xbox randomly signed me out of my account again and started to do it all over again and wont let me connect via wireless and the xbox seems very slow. I have been researching around and came across some posts about
people could not connect their xbox with wireless. So I tried what someone said to change the channel of the router from 6 to 5 (Mine was already set to Auto) so i changed it and in that very instant my xbox refreshed and signed me in with no problem, im actually
downloading some game updates as we speak.. So hopefully this sticks and all is good.
