Getting enough exercise?

So, early this morning I turned on my Xbox One console and noticed that Xbox Fitness had an update. Now, for the record, I don't usually use this app, but because I saw the update, I decided to see what was new. Once in the app, I couldn't really see what
had changed, but since I was already there, I decided to try a work-out - I picked the 10-minute total body option. It helped me feel a lot better, wasn't too strenuous, and gave me a great start to my day.

In any case, the point of this thread is simple: I'm curious as to how many of you use this app and which exercises you do and why. If you don't happen to use this app (but have a Kinect), I'd also like to know why you choose not to use it.

Every time I get online to play black opps 2 Xbox live asks me for a password or a security code.. This happened to me a few months ago. I couldn't remember my password so I got locked out of my last account. I still had 6 months left on my gold membership.
What a waste! Now I built a new account. Remembered all my info and now they suspend me for not updating my billing info. WTF! How many times do I have to waste my money on gold memberships that I can't use? This system isn't designed for the customer, it's
made for Microsoft to steal ur money and not let u get what u paid for! Calling customer service is no help either! They just say there's nothin they can do and make u pay and build a new account.BS! I know PS3 doesn't make they're valued customer go threw
all this trouble to play their games. So if non of these Microsoft employees are gonna make this easier I'm going to try my luck else where. My son and wife also have an account and we have the Xbox one on reserve, but alots gonna have to change or I'm switching
brands and going back to PS4 cause this is soooo unnecessary!! The system is fine. It's the Microsoft management that's broken this go round!

If your account says you need to update billing info, contact billing support the problem is that your Credit Card declined the last payment or two for your subscription, this problem only comes up when its been declined for more than 45 days

 

On average, I use it about 4 times a week; usually the red & blue 10 Minute Solutions workouts. I almost always follow up with a longer Just Dance routine.

It's quick & simple. If you have friends who also use Xbox Fitness, who have done the same routines as you, you'll see their names pop up rivals-style periodically, with a challenge to beat their score. That's a quick & easy motivator, if you're into that
aspect.

I tried it for the achievements about a month and a half ago. I tried to do the actual exercises the videos were showing me, but it didn't feel right... so instead I swing my arms around, spin in circles and do some terrible dance moves to eventually work
my way up to the achievements

 

Yep I use it, works really well, usually do the 10 minute workouts to supplement non gym days.

 

Never seen the benefit myself I train 4 days a week while bulking and every day when on a cut so there wouldn't be any way to fit it in even if i wanted.

I thought the misses would have a look but she'd rather just come and do some cardio.

 

I don't use it cuz it isn't available in my country. I also prefer to exercise outside like run or play or swim than taking the oldie approach of doing it in front of a TV. My mum use to watch breakfast shows on TV it's called Good Morning or something.
She tried some of them. I just don't like and don't do exercise from a TV or even Xbox. Sure if there's some interactive exercise-type games like Kinect Sports Rivals I'll play it. Sometimes I'm lazy too or just too busy during the week to go for a quick street
jog in the morning or swimming. I use to do cross country athletics and squash a little. I'd say mini-golf counts too. Lets see I sometimes rush to the bus stops in the mornings and walk more than a couple of metres every day, that should count ;DD.

 

I used Xbox Fitness every day or every other day. I love this app.

Jambo, tell your wife that the app offers numerous cardio work-outs, because it does.

 

I don't have xbox fitness or any exercise game, however, I do have a stationary bike in front of my projection screen which I ride while I play world of tanks. I find that since this game isn't too fast paced I don't end up focusing purely on the game and
stop peddling. Now I can play WoT for 45-60 min a day and time flys by on the bike I do this 4 or 5 times a week.

I do this because I don't have a kinect or a one. Great results! (cutting back the booze helped a ton too... haha)

It is a neat APP, however, I prefer to exercise outside, and when raining, I'm on an Epic treadmill.

 

Thanks to a work perk, I get free gym membership, so that's where I prefer to work up a sweat, but I did give the fitness app a try and it seem's decent enough

I don't use Kinect Fitness. I spend two to three hours in the gym daily, and cycle 19km, five days a week.
