Getting disconnected from xbox live while playing online

What Country/State/Province do you live in?: MI, USA

Modem brand & model number: comcast/xfinity X1 (not sure any other details)

Router brand & model number: ^motem+router in 1

How many consoles do you have connected to this router?: 2, but this is happening with the other console shut off

Wired or wireless (for each console): wired for this one; (wireless for the non-problem console)

If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal adapter (Xbox 360 S/E)?:

Things you have tried:

restarting xbox. the clearing cache/deleting account/re-downloading account 'fix'. unpluging my motem/router and turning my xbox of for 15 minutes (as suggested by an activision support person). restore to factory defaults. switching from wired
to wireless. playing online by myself vs. playing in a party (including playing with different friends). playing online in game chat vs. playing online in xbox live party chat. nothing has worked.

Any Error Codes you encounter: 8015190E only appears SOMETIMES when it kicks me off

I was just able to play a few rounds and then got kicked off xbox live. so I signed back in and joined the same match. did this 3 times before it finally wouldn't let me sign back into xbox live anymore and I had to go and 'test network connection'
which of course says my connection is perfectly fine -.-

Xbox live disconnect during backwards compatibility

I keep getting disconnected from Xbox live but only while playing halo reach, no other games.

Getting completely disconnected from live. Happens while watching netflix and while playing black ops 2

 

Hi KORPZ, I have a couple questions to ask you.

How long has this been going on? Does this problem happen with a certain game or all games?

When you play, is anyone on a computer or downloading things? How long have you been using the wireless adapter? How long have you had the router?

 

This just recently started happening. I haven't had time to play in a few weeks, so I just started having this problem (June 29th).

I thought maybe it was just the one game, so I tried a newer game to test it out and it still kicked me off from xbox live after a few matches. I will try playing a different type of online game in a little bit to see if it is just the COD games, though.

This was happening when it was just me home. I thought that maybe my laptop was hogging the signal, so I shut it down, but it didn't help.

We had to 'upgrade' to the X1 in May because we added phone service, but the internet service we were paying for stayed the same.
