getting disconnected from xbox live while playing multiplayer game

I have called into xbox live support 3 times and have done all there trouble shooting steps. I still get randomly disconnected while playing online. It is not specific to a certain title but I have tried multiples and achieved the same result. I have reset
me network several times I have changed the Ethernet cable and even borrowed a newer 360 console. The problem is not here in my network or console. It appears that the problem is either in the servers or the online service itself as I have read on the forums
here that many users have been experiencing the same problems for as long as I have. I suspect if the actual problem is not identified and resolved soon, Microsoft might be loosing a lot of customers.

Xbox live disconnect during backwards compatibility

I keep getting disconnected from Xbox live but only while playing halo reach, no other games.

 

Why do I see this popping up when I turn on my xbox 360 when connecting to xbox live?

Getting disconnected from xbox live while playing a game and wanted to know why it's doing this every single day.Can I still play a game while being offline.

 

Its is possibly that it isn't close to the internet when trying to connect or that there isn't enough bite rate to connect you to it. At the moment there are some maintenance happening which you can check at
support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status to see what the problem is with the xbox service.

My Xbox is hard wired. So range is not a problem. @scott272 I mentio this in my original post. None of the troubleshooting steps on their site help. I have already done them...multiple times, plus a few extra things. This is not a problem that only I am
having a problem with. A lot of other users are having the same problem. Nothing is my house has changed. Nothing else in my house on the network is having problems. Nothing else on the Xbox has issues, except this. So the problem lies with the service, not
the in home networks. FIX THIS!!! I'm paying for a service I can't use!!!

 

I've never had connection issues, but since 4pm yesterday I've been having this same issue. It seems I can only connect to Xbox live for 5-10 mins at a time, then I get disconnected for a min or two. At this ponit, I just want to know who I can call and
yell at, until my service is restored.

Riplash4ever, you may want to try the troubleshooter I mentioned in my first post.

If that doesn't work, please try following the instructions above.

 

its the server it cant handle high volume players i notice when more than 35 game matches going . i seriously don't think its the customers

 

It's sad that it took a group of kids to hack the network before Microsoft finally realized that the problem we all were having lied in their servers....exactly what we have been telling them. But I guess there is no way that the customer could be right.

I called my isp I have comcast we did a static ip and port forward. but i still am getting disconected it happens all the time on world of tanks and now on call of duty. this started happening to me about 3 or 4 months ago for world of tanks. ihave
a wireless router and modem in one ots the technicolor.

If you're referring to the Technicolor-TC8305C, there have been many reports of people having trouble with that modem. From what I've read, the only potential fix is to set the Technicolor to "bridge mode," but that is assuming you have another router you
can add to your setup.

Here's a helpful thread about the known issues with that model.

 

You need to set dmz regardless of port foward and zero config on the technicolor I own one, no DC since.

 

I was playing WOT with friends last night. I kept getting disconnected from WOTs. As were my friends. We were each getting notice that "Game requires a xbox live connection." We were still in chat! This has been going on for about 3 weeks but has gotten
worse since 12/24.2014.
