    Getting disconnected from game sessions


    Hi everyone,

    I started getting erros in many games when playing multiplayer modes. I first notice it in Battlefield 1. After 5 to 15 minutes of gameplay I just lost connection to the game sessions, but not from party, spotify or xbox live. I think it's a ISP problem
    and I saw many people talking about a VNP solution, so do anybody knows what is it about, so I can contact my ISP support

    God I feel stupid.

    But I guess clicking on the version at the top doesn't do anything.

    Why can't they just make this easy and let me update from the belkin program itself. UGH.

    AHHHH. An error message!

    "Upgrade file is not the correct type or version for this device. Upgrade failed. Please obtain the correct file and try again" This is the firmware file linked right there at my own routers page at
    www.belkin.com/.../support-product

    All these posts I've seen everywhere from all the google searching I've done, it seems people have had lots of problems with Belkin. It makes me want to just switch to another router altogether. I'm gonna try to port forward those two numbers and hope it

    Autolog & Multiplayer Connection Problem

    Okay, got to play some, but in Career Mode it gets disconnected from Autolog all the time. Also gets disconnected in Multiplayer during sessions, causing a session to end, breaking up any group of players that were playing together. This sucks! :(

    If it helps. I usually can have an invite only session with any number of people. But I can't seem to be on a public session. And I don't just get kicked from the session. I get disconnected altogether.

    Hey Rok, how are you today? Hope you're well.

    Call your internet service provider, and ask them to open the ports described below on your router.

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)

    Also ask to disable and then, enable it again the UPnP function and if you have a modem and a router the process has to be done on both devices.

    Besides, ask them to put their console's IP in the DMZ zone configuration.

    (To find the Xbox One IP address, press the Xbox button to open the dashboard, go to System > Settings > General > Network settings, then select Advanced settings.)

    Quite frankly, Belkins aren't the best gaming routers. They are okay for computers, but not really for gaming in general. I personally prefer Netgears or D-Links. I hope those ports work!
