Getting ‘Code not found’ when trying to enter a prepaid 3-mont subscription code.

Ive recently bought a prepaid code for 3 months of Xbox Live gold, but when I tried to enter the code that was on the recipt on my Xbox I got a message reading ‘Code not found. Try reentering it. If that doesn’t work, contact the merchant.’

Any help?

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. Make sure your code is being entered exactly as you see it on the receipt before pressing enter. I recommend you
Contact Xbox Customer Support so a representative can check the code and give you more information about its status. Contacting the retailer is usually the best course of action
regarding receipt printed pre paid codes. Let us know with a reply how it goes.

You would have to buy a new code, but there's no limits using prepaid codes to get subscriptions. You can enter up to 36 months at a time through prepaid codes.

Yeah I'm getting the same message when I tried entering a prepaid code for an Xbox Live gold 12 month subscription.

If you already have a 25 digit code, you can try and redeem it via the console or via www.xbox.com, but like mentioned they might expire.
