    Getting charged for 2nd subscription for family member in same home.


    Since before you could use same subscription to access XBox One and XBox 360 of family member. I purchased a 12 month Live subscription for my son (who was 11 at the time). Since then, we should be able to share the same subscription but I'm not sure which
    one to cancel and how to not lose either of our history / points / etc. It's coming to that time. In about 10 days, I'll be charged to renew my account. About a month later, I'll be asked to shell out another $100.

    Has anyone else had this (or similar) issue? If so, were you able to resolve it? Getting sick of spending double the cost of what we should be getting with a single account.

    Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thx

    Cant add family member to family gold pack subscription

    i have bought the gold family pack and i cannot add a family member to the subscription, i keep getting a message saying this family member could not be added to the family pack at this time, please try again later. can anyone help? we both use the same
    console, and always have done.

    Basically you sign into a mate's/family members xbox and make that your home console and your mate/family member does the same on yours. Then any purchases you make, appear on your mate's/family member's xbox and vice versa.

    You only need one subscription if you're all using the same Xbox. Just make sure whoever has the subscription has set their account as the home Xbox account. The instructions for that are here

    Need help moving my both my sons series s consoles under my account.

    Thsts not how family settings work nor home.console.

    Family settings only set.permissions for child accounts not sharing games

    You will have to either limit them to one console or setup another subscription. And games On a 2nd account for.the other series s I'd limit it to games they play ro save money

    Most consoles work this way only pc and steam.deck work in the way you want

    Pc you have to be signed ij on the xbox app to download the games and let them play (only play.anywhere titles are available for pc without a 2nd purchase

    If a 2nd subscription and purchases works for you we can go thru it but It gets complicated

    If that family member's Microsoft account does not have an Xbox Live Gold (or Game Pass Ultimate) subscription connected to it, it will then have to rely on whatever subscriptions that their device's Home Xbox setting has with it. The Microsoft account
    family feature does not extend subscriptions to those accounts.
