    Getting back purchased game on the Microsoft Store


    After formatting my PC and reinstalling Windows 10,
    I can't get back a game purchased on the Microsoft store,
    despite being logged in with the same account and using the same machine.
    The game in question is "Sea of Thieves" purchased by credit card on 11/02/2021.

    Unpin the game from the taskbar and start. Then uninstall the game. Go back into Microsoft Store and reinstall the program. You'll have to go into the collections and click on the download buttons, but you'll get everything back without purchasing again.

    Assuming it was purchased thru microsoft then contact microsoft support team. If it was purchased elsewhere possibly a store then take it back with your receipt. Im assuming it was from the microsoft store.
