Getting back on the market

Hi everyone it's been a few years since ive posted on here, but i'm rather lonely on my xbox one. Most of my friends are still on the 360.

i'm a 30+ male, play online most evening after around 9.30pm. (when the wife and kids are in bed)

Really enjoying destiny at the moment, but need some friends to help do raids and stuff.

when I started the game I could ise it now I can’t it just has a red lock by it same as the online one too.

Only level 24 hunter, i only play with 31's plus lol, only joking add the people on the thread (inc me) and hopefully you can get in a raid or two, when you get to level 27 let me know when your on and if you can't get people to raid I will get you the loot
from some of it, enough to get you level 32 anyway.

But you really do need to be a higher level to raid crota properly (by that I mean you can't do any damage at 27 (you can only just get in at 27)), you also need better guns, there not gunna cut it in crota either, infact they won't cut in in the VOG either.

Clouds group could easily drag you through VOG easy but theres little point since the loot is already outdated and you need to be 27 to get into hard for a chance of the vex and exotic drops.

Buy armour from the sellers, and level up quickly is my first bit of advice.

 

Thanks for the advice, I'm spending a lot of time researching levelling up and gaining experience. It just seems to take me an age. I feel like I'm doing something wrong. Don't ever seen to have enough cash or vanguard marks to buy gear. How do you get a
vanguard recommendation?

 

Yeah I love raiding, as does most those I play with so I'm sure we could drag you through the VoG at some point but as Enen explains, the gear is outdated and outmatched by the vendors at the tower so there is little point. Enens a vet at the raids so follow
through with his advice and offer if all else fails.

 

To get Vangaurds commendations you have to level your vanguard upto level 3, you get one at level 3 and one every level after. (you can also get gear and weapons for leveling up in the packages) You wont level up the vanguard if you have a faction cap on.

Best way to level up vanguard is to do the bounties every day, if you can't do them one day log on take the bounties and do doubles the next day.

You can also do Strikes and patrols, strikes will give you rank and marks not sure if patrols do, but patrol are quicker for leveling up.

You also need to make sure you do the nightfall every week rewards are generally very good, and do the heroic if you can, easy way to get cheap coins to spend with xur.
