Getting away with BREAKING THE CODE OF CONDUCT!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to ask Xbox why they allow their code of conduct to be broken. I have had someone go around Xboxs code of conduct, hack my account, found out my real name, then threaten my home town. I have called support 5 times and talked
to many different people. The first person suggested to report the messages with detail so it will be flagged, which they told me would only take 24-48 hours, which a supervisor, may I add, said. I waited that time and nothing was done. May I also mention
I had already reported this person over 30 times with detail. I called again today because its been longer then the time said and I was told I was lied to. It could take up to a month said another supervisor. I then talked to a manager who then told me they
have no right to tell me any time because they dont know nor deal with it. My credit card information is on my account. If its so easy for this person to hack my account and break your code of conduct, why is nothing being done. Breaking the code of conduct
is a ban. I want something to be done about this NOW! I'm tired of being lied to by xbox support and i'm tired of nothing being done. DO YOU EVER CARE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!!?????

Breaking the Code of Conduct

I recently was playing a online match against some other people when a guy and his other friends were being rude and picking on another player. I simply asked them to leave him alone, of course now switching they're wrath to me. I figured this would happen
and after they said a few rude things would tire of it and leave me alone. I was wrong this person continually harassed me and went on to describe sexual acts involving my mother but not the usual stuff your used to hearing but EXTREMELY EXPLICIT things. I
have come to expect the usual curse words and your mama jokes but he was taking it WAY over the line. Even after trying to ignore him he had went on to say how he was going to write me every day and continue this vendetta, simply for trying to stick up for
someone. So of course I blocked him from communicating with me but I for once feel he needs to have the appropriate action taken against him for this and continually harassing people even after they are ignoring you and haven't said so much as one rude thing
in retaliation to they're obsessiveness over this. I know many people will read this and say how I'm a baby. Well have fun, I don't care about the usual exchanging of words but to be continually harassed over saying to leave the kid alone is WAY to far in
my opinion. Please whoever is in charge of the code of conduct department, will you contact me so I can give you the Gamertag of the player.

If another player is threatening you please
submit a report on the other person however it might be advisable to involve local law enforcement of the threats you are receiving from them.

 

They aren't hacking your account, they're social engineering you, or not telling the truth.

Use a strong password that's not on any other sites, enable two factor authentication and you'll be fine from that perspective.

If this person has actually threatened you or your home town, bypass Microsoft directly and contact local law enforcement, providing them with all information.

If you've reported this person 30x, have you actually blocked them? If not, are they making different gamertags?

 

They live in another state. The cops will tell you any where they cant do anything about harassment on social media or on xbox. Im really tried of being told to go to the cops when we all know they wont do anything.

 

I also have already reported this person over 30 times in detail.

Microsoft account
and another player. What I recommend doing is updating your security info(updating your password). As well if you'd like to avoid contact with the other player I suggest blocking the other player. Please let us know how it goes unfortunately there isn't

We apologize that this issue has come up but rest assured we are here to assist. Unfortunately as stated by the Xbox Support team on the phones, we do not have the tools necessary to look into any suspensions and bans of players. We do have a team dedicated
soley to
Enforcement actions, we recommend removing the payment instrument from the account, changing the password, and blocking the person. Also look into a passkey which would ask for a password to make purchases on said account. Reach out to our Enforcement team
since, as stated before, they are the only ones with the correct tools to get this issue resolved.

 

Like I stated before it only tells me how to report. I was told by a xbox support manager to come here to get my issue resolved. Why am I being lied to. Constantly!

 

How if I dont have this persons name nor information. But she has all mine. What can they do without any of that information?

 

How do you know they hacked your account? Other people may be able to determine your name without hacking your Microsoft account.

Do you stream using an external device? If you do and show yourself accessing the Dashboard then a viewer might see your name that way.

Did you check/set your Privacy settings for who can see your real name? If you have that set to Everybody then anyone can see your real name just by checking your profile.

There may also be third party tools that people use to figure out your name from your IP address. Microsoft has no control over that type of activity as it is external to their infrastructure.

 

"Hello Mr Policeman. I'm being threatened online by someone going under the name of FAKE_NAME. They're sending me these threats on Xbox Live. Here are some screenshots to show what they're threatening me with."

Mr. Policeman (or woman) takes it from there, does some law stuff, some police stuff, and eventually a request is made to Microsoft from law enforcement for FAKE_NAME's real life information.
