    Getting an old xbox 360 gamertag


    Hello, my name is Webbhead or on xbox. I have been playing xbox since i could remember, my parents and brother always told me that when i was less then a year old i was holding a controller. Ever since the original xbox to the beautiful halo 3 xbox 360 we got in 2007, to the amazing xbox one with halo mcc, and now to the stunning xbox series s. For years i have posted in the forums, emailed people at Microsoft and Xbox, @ support on twitter, done everything i can to get 1 gamertag. Webbhead i have been trying to get the gamertag Webbhead for years now they have not been active since the beginning of the xbox 360 days. So please share this forum or whatever so i can get people from Microsoft to help me get this tag, this means so much to me. Please Microsoft and Xbox help me get this tag, if i have to pay money i will but i just want that tag, the original Webbhead tag no Webbhead#0000 i just want the original. Please and thank you

    Gamer tag on Xbox

    If you have an Xbox 360 you can plug it in and get the old gamertag system there. It's currently the only way to get the old gamertag system. It sucks it's inconvenient but it's the only way

    Getting an old xbox 360 gamertag

    No one from Microsoft is going to take a gamertag from someone else. As long as the tag is on the servers, it's considered in use. The tag system is in use on other Microsoft services as well so even if it's not in use on an Xbox, it may be in use somewhere else. There are new rules in place that would free up the tag (if that person doesn't sign into their Xbox account for 5 years or into their Microsoft account within 2 years). So all you can do is either wait for it to be freed up through that system or for the original owner to change the tag. However, there are several people already using the same tag currently, so even if the original is freed up, you will most likely be given the suffix.

    You can get the old gamertag system from the Xbox 360 but you'd have to pay for it. Not really an easy way to swap names.

    Know i have a new Gamertag. The old Gamertag on the old 360 must be delete from XBOX.COM. The Problem is: We haven't the old 360, it was sold. On XBOX.COM is the old 360 actice, that is false.
