    Getting an error message in a F2P MMO : "Failed to verify Microsoft Login. Please try again...


    I am trying to start Neverwinter Online on the Xbox One.

    My brother has the Xbox set to "home" xbox, and is sharing Live Gold.

    It has worked without problem until mid July, when I got the error message:
    "Failed to verify Microsoft Login. Please try again later"

    I have contacted Cryptic, and they say that the account should be able to play, but they are usually not very knowledgeable, or helpful, so I figured I would try to get an answer here.

    I found another person on Redddit with the same problem, and sent him a message, but he has not replied.

    Hey dude! Yes I am experiencing the same issue as well. The suggestions I just read below absolutely do not work / redownloading profiles, formatting xbox, redownloading game and all files, clearing cache, clearing game files, all makes 0 difference.

    There is simply a problem and it is highly annoying. Microsoft rep told me it is 100% at fault of the developer, but at this point I am unsure as to whose fault it is. Also, Microsoft said they would get back to me regarding the issue and has yet to email
    me.... typical.

    That isn't correct. I have the same issue as well and formatting the xbox, redownloading profiles, clearing game cache, nothing to do with Xbox at all. Nothing seems to fix this regardless. I have the EXACT same issue and it is highly annoying!!!!!

    I forgot to mention that my brothers Live Gold is active, and valid until 2021 or something, so it's not a problem with that.

    You have to delete the account from the system then readd it
