Getting almost constantly disconneted from Halo 5 now

Ever since the last update in Halo 5 (Monitors Bounty) I have been getting disconnected almost constantly from matches. Here is a video of what keeps happening Click here to watch, tag friends, comment on, download, or share this video

This has been getting worst and worst since the monitors bounty update to the point where this is happening almost every match. Before that update, I never got disconnected and I've been playing halo 5 since day 1. Nothing has changed with my router or internet
either. This is becoming a joke 343I/Microsoft, please fix!

    :)

Halo 5: Guardians Kicks me out of the matches

Same thing happens to me now. Nothing has changed on my end either. Ever since the monitors bounty update I've been getting disconnected almost every match now. A lot more people are saying stuff on the support forums in halo 5 too, but still no respond
    from 343I or Microsoft.

    Hard drive issues.

Playing halo 5 constantly getting kicked off in game. It keeps saying external hard drive ready and getting ban because of it. Is anyone else having this issue.? If so anyway to fix it.??

    Hey there Dead End 24,

While you may not have changed any settings on your Internet Connection or Router, it's possible that something may have happened with the physical connection so let's have you run through this guide

    HERE
and see if it helps out with the connection issues.

Let us know how it goes!

  6. Thanks for the details, let's take a quick look at the connection on the console network stats. Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console
and please provide the following information.

    • Download Speed
    • Upload Speed
    • Latency
    • Packet Loss %
    • Wireless Strength
    • Modem Manufacturer
    • Router Manufacturer (if being used)

Since you're seeing the issue when you're wirelessly connected, run the test while wireless so we can get a better picture.

    Thanks!

  8. Getting almost constantly disconneted from Halo 5 now

Thanks for the information and my apologies, I did see that you only saw the issue when wired, I just mistyped that. It looks like this is a 3G/4G LTE connected device to obtain an internet connection in that correct? To clarify, is
this your device? From the video it appears that the error states "You've been disconnected from your local network" which would indicate a local connection issue and not a
server side error. So my hunch on this one right now might be that the specific Ethernet port on the ZTE might be having a problem.

Have you tried swapping Ethernet cables and Ethernet ports on the device yet? Or tried to use another device to play to see if the same issue happenes? I know you mentioned that the issue doesn't happen in other games and based on the 0% Packet Loss I don't
believe that you should see any issues, but it's worth trying to see if it makes any difference.

Well, i'm back... took a while but I am lol

My situation is the same. I still get disconnected from Halo 5 when i'm WIRED but not when i'm wireless.

I have used 2 other routers that are the same make as mine and i still get disconnected. I have used two other internets and the same thing happens but not as much admittedly it seems. Because of this i still feel the issue must be on Halo 5 servers end
as I feel i'm done all that i could. Maybe it's an issue with 4G/LTE connections wired with Halo 5 servers.... or maybe It's an issue with Xbox One S being wired to Halo 5.... or a combination of the two, no idea... I just know when I'm wireless i don't get
disconnected and i know it's not my port on my system because i don't get disconnected with other games if i'm wired. I'd rather be wired, but at least it's playable.

I recommend to anyone who is being disconnected from Halo 5 while being wired to try going wireless because hey, you never know... because i'm sure your tired of seeing this Click here for HD resolution and download options like i am.

Getting almost constantly disconneted from Halo 5 now

Sorry for delayed reply, have been busy.

I have gone threw all those steps (more then once) and still have the same issues. I should have said in my original post that I am NOT being disconnected from Xbox live and I'm only being disconnected from the Halo 5 servers (as seen in my video I posted
above) Any other game works fine when I'm wired and I don't get disconnects. Since the Monitors Bounty update in Halo 5 the only thing that has changed on my end is I now have an Xbox one S.

Oddly enough, in my tinkering, I haven't been disconnected from Halo 5 dedicated server when I'm WIRELESS, which makes no sense at all (so far I've played about 30 games wireless and no disconnects) I have tried being hardwired during my tests with Halo
5 and everytime I get disconnected. I know my Ethernet port on my Xbox One S is fine because as I stated, any other game works fine. It's nice I can play, but wireless connection isn't a good and I notice a difference, but for now it's better then nothing.
Maybe there are issues with Xbox One S's and Halo 5 dedicated server issues when hardwire. Only thing I can think of...

I don't think you read my message right.... I said I'm being disconnected from the halo 5 server only when I'm WIRED!!! but if I play any other game WIRED, it's fine and I don't disconnect. Only Halo 5 disconnects me when I'm WIRED.... BUT if I play Halo
5 WIRELESSLY it DOESN'T disconnect. It's very strange... Please re-read my previous messages. As far as Detailed network statistics, here you are. I did it many times over the course of a few days so here is the average.

    Download Speed - 40-55megs

    [*]Upload Speed - 35-45megs
    [*]Latency - 80-110
    [*]Packet Loss % - 0
[*]Wireless Strength - I was wired when I did these tests, but when I am wireless I'm 100%
    Modem Manufacturer - ZTE MF28B

    MTU 1440

I have an Xbox One S. I think something is up with the Halo 5 dedicated servers or something is up when Xbox One S is connected to Halo 5 when wired.

No problem on the mistake, I just wanted to be VERY clear on my situation is all, as it's one you don't hear everyday :)

Yes you are correct and that is the device. Well, I've tried other ports and it doesn't seem to matter, I get disconnected on everyone... but as I stated, I never get disconnected when I play any other game when I'm wired, so that doesn't make any sense
to me....like at all lol hence I feel like it's a Halo 5 server issue. Also, this just started right after halo 5 brought out there Monitors bounty update and it just so happened I got an Xbox one S on the same day. Hence I though, maybe something was up with
Xbox One S and Halo 5. The timing just seems....odd, is all.

I'll try all the ports again, because hey, why not... and I've tried 6 different cables already, so I don't think it's that lol. All cables as 5 or 5e ones too. I'm going to take my system to a friends or my girlfriends house in the near future and try playing
Halo 5 wired using there internet and see what happens, but it might be a week or so as I'm pretty busy at the moment, but who knows. Yes I have 0% packet loss and have never seen anything but 0 here, which is good lol I've also contacted my ISP twice just
to have them double check on things as well and they have found no issues with anything. If you have any other idea's please let me know and I'll report back when I can.

Thanks, I'd love to hear if the issue is happening on another network as well and I'll be sure to post back if I find out any more info!
