Getting added on X1/sent friend requests on X360 by 0GS randoms

It's about the 3rd time now. They always have 0 gamerscore. I would add the account name of the last one just in case, but I think that's not allowed here. It's getting weird. I just keep blocking them. I guess that's the best thing I can do?

People can't approve my friend requests

Hello,

I've sent a bunch of friend requests, they all show up as Pending requests. The other people say they added me as a friend, so I show up on their friend request, however they don't see any way to approve my friend requests, so we become mutual friends.

Where do they go in Xbox One to approve my friend request?

 

Been getting a few of these myself lately.

Yeah,just ignore them & block them,that's what I've been doing.

 

They could be clan recruiting. They just send out friend request to recent players.

Or your being stalked.

 

Nah,the gamertags are system generated,0 Gamerscore,no games played & just sending out friends requests.

It's so they can Spam/ Advertise a mass-message. I've gotten a handful and almost always like clock-work they Send a Message a few days later, "go to imstupid.co for a free ipad".

 

Because of this, I've set my privacy settings with regards to messaging to "friends only" and will keep it that way for a week or two to see how that works out. Haven't received any of these since doing so.

If I wanted a smart watch, I wouldn't be looking for one on XBL. Grrrrrr
