Getting a 'Your Gold is about to expire' message when it isn't

Hi,

When I switch on my Xbox One there is a message saying 'Your Gold is about to expire'. However my subscription is not due to expire until 28/03/2016-it even tells me this when I go to manage my subscription. Any explanations?

Xbox Live Expiring Early

Double check your subscription at
http://commerce.microsoft.com If it shows that your gold is good until January 2017, then you'll be fine. Some people have been getting messages that their gold is about to expire when it isn't.

If it does show any errors, you would need to contact support. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or

Xboxlive Gold Renewal

Hi Guys,

My membership was coming up for renewal & I was getting the "Your Gold is about to expire" message on my Xboxone 'homescreen'....I successfully renewed for 12months using a prepaid card on 31st May & received a confirmation email from Microsoft

"We're sending you this message as confirmation that you have successfully renewed Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold, which will expire on Sunday, 18 June 2017. Here is a description of the service:
"

Inspite of this renewal, I still have that "Your Gold is about to expire" message displaying on my homescreen.... is there anyway I can fix this or will it fix itself in time?

Hey there!

Thanks for the support message.

If you have a current subscription (such as a 1 month subscription) that is about to expire, it will still show that message, but if you already redeemed another gold subscription, then the next subscription will pick up right where the current one leaves
off at. So it will still say it will expire soon because of the current active subscription is going to, but the next subscription will go into effect once that one expires.

Has your Gold membership expired by any chance? I know you're Gold now <--- but the site takes about 3 weeks to update stuff. That's the only reason you could be getting that message.

I have a gold account but all of a sudden the other family members are getting an error message that the gold account has expired but it has not expired.

Gold offers that appear on your screen are random. You never know when they come, so if you pass on it when you see it, it may be lost. It may happen again, it may not.

As for Gold time, the subscription starts the day it's activated, so there's never a worry about when it expires.

If you get a 1 month subscription, it will expire 1 month from when it starts. Same with a 3 month or 12 month, you get your full time.
