Getting a refund from my hacked account

our Xbox account was hacked and over $700 in games were purchased. We have been trying since September 2023 to get a refund and Microsoft keeps sending us a questionnaire to fill out and assures us that they will help us once they get this filled out and then we get an email saying the request was denied. We have talked to so many agents and they all assure us that they will keep in touch and then they don’t. We have been told that these charges have come from Great Britain. Our bank will not help us because they say that it looks like it’s the same URL that we use. We need that $700 and Microsoft has different agents that help and you cannot get back to the same one who always reassures us that we will receive our money. Is there anything we can do? They will not tell us why we were denied or who denied us, but we are out this money that we didn’t purchase anything with.

Unfortunately even if Microsoft support through the refund form or any official Microsoft support agent can help you regarding this very serious problem, much less can we help you, since this is a forum of and for the gaming community where we support each other with a certain limited amount of problems, unfortunately this type of problem is out of our hands, the only thing I can tell you is to keep trying to contact support and explain your situation until they validate the refund through the form, sorry not to be of more help but remember that we are not direct employees of Microsoft and we can not help more than there with this type of problem.

mine got hacked Fifa 12 related it took 37 days to get my account back and they refunded my points.

I had the same issue a while ago. I had no idea that it was possible to get a refund. But you should definitely pay attention to your security. Start with changing your passport.

Call 1-800-469-9269 then hit 1 for billing then hit either 1 or 2 option. Takes about 5 minutes to get someone on the phone. They will suspend the account and stop all purchases but will give the annoying 25 day "investigation" line. At the end of the investigation
they "should" refund all unauthorized charges. Your CC company of course can refund the charges as they were unauthorized. My account was hacked 3 days ago as well. I have managed to (at least I think) to lock them out of my live account but it is still 100%
