getting a new phone

got a new phone coming tuesday ive ordered nokia lumia 530 I got this because it links to my one drive but it also connects to xbox does it do this via the smart glass app and is it just the same as on my tablet

To directly connect to your xbox, yes it uses smart glass. But there are games that you can play on the phone that are linked to xbox and you can get achievements etc. for your profile by playing them on your phone. You can also view your friends, send messages,
and edit your profile from the phone without smart glass You can see some of the games you can get on WP

I've got the Lumia 635, absolutely love it! Windows phone is real easy to use and looks great, Cortana is cool too <3

 

yeah my gf has one she loves it especially with the ammount of pics she takes of the baby and the dog and there sent straight to her one drive

[/quote] First. Great buy and not because I own the 520 (Cortona update comeon!) You are going to love the Xbox accessibility and smart glass. You can also use the phone with Zune, which is the music and video subscription and purchase site. If you want
complete synergy with your XBOX ONE and 360 than this is a must buy.

apart from the games most of that can be done on any phone as smartglass and onedrive is available on all.

 

The SmartGlass apps on WP and Windows 8 are pretty much the same.
