Getting a message that says You’re at the limit for the number of devices

It seems that your getting a message that you're at the limit for the number of devices event though you only have added two devices on your account. Let's work on this together in finding the best possible solution to this problem.

To better understand the situation, I would like to ask some questions, such as:

• To clarify, are you trying to install games or apps on a third device? If so, it's possible that the limit for the number of devices has been reached for your account.
  

To check the number of devices associated with your account, please follow these steps:



1. Go to account.microsoft.com/devices

2. Sign in with your Microsoft account

3. Check the number of devices listed under "Your devices"



If you see more than two devices listed, you may need to remove some of them to free up space for the new device. To remove a device, simply click on the device and select "Remove".

Can I have the exact message that you’re getting? Also, what device are you using?

I think the limit is 10. Check this
link to double check how many you have active.

Thanks for your reply. I did see that I have 10. So I unlinked the 3 oldest. Maybe this will solve my problem.
