    Getting a Game content is unreadable followed by a Disc is unreadable pop up


    Last Sunday I logged onto destiny when out of nowhere the screen freezes and gives the pop up "Problem with reading game content" which is then followed by "This disc is unreadable" popping shortly after. Its been doing this for the past few days now and
    it's happening randomly because sometimes the game is working fine for a few and other times it gives the pop up instantly. I just don't know what is happening and what to do about it but if someone knows what the problem is and a possible solution that would
    be great! Getting a Game content is unreadable followed by a Disc is unreadable pop up :)

    Forza Horizon wont play the single player

    @Misses Joust i followed the steps and it still comes up as a disc is unreadable error.

    Can microsoft give refunds?

    Games on demand getting disc unreadable? The only downloaded game I had that message pop was Yugioh. It doesn't even make sense. How is the disc unreadable if it's a file on my Xbox? Silly Microsoft.

    To answer your question, Microsoft doesn't give refunds. What did support tell you do?

    Same problem except for the "disc unreadable" popping up.

    disc is unreadable on a games on demand title

    Came across this answer while searching for a solution to a similar problem with the GoD version of XCOM. I was playing the game for ages, then reached a point where it would just pop up with a "disc unreadable" message. I followed the steps here (support.xbox.com/.../disc-unreadable-error-games-on-demand)
    and it seems to have fixed the issue. Possibly either an incomplete download or a slightly dodgy sector on my HDD. Something else to try, if the above doesn't work.

    my Gears of War 3 disc won't install

    It doesn't give a code it just has a box pop up the says "Game Error, This disc is unreadable" then is say clean the disc and restart the system. the disc isn't dirty and this the only game that has said that
